I thoroughly inspect every item for damage before packaging, but due to the nature of handmade items there may be minor imperfections.
⟢ Silver Care
Silver gradually tarnishes if not taken care of properly. When silver comes into contact with oxygen or sulfur it darkens over time. Here is a guide on how to take care of it ♡
The best way to prevent your silver jewelry from tarnishing is by wearing it! The natural oils in your skin prevent tarnish, and when it’s worn you’re most likely brushing your jewelry past your clothing, skin, etc. thus preventing the buildup of tarnish on your jewelry.
When not being worn, I recommend storing your jewelry in an airtight bag or container. Each sterling silver item is packaged with anti tarnish strips; storing away your jewelry with the anti tarnish strip included will help keep it pristine.
If your silver is tarnished, it can be easily restored to its initial state by gently cleaning it with a jewelry polishing cloth. I do not recommend using a chemical jewelry cleaner on gemstone jewelry because of certain stones being more delicate and/or porous than others. Because of this, chemical cleaners can damage your crystals so I highly recommend using a polishing cloth instead.
Wire wrapped jewelry is delicate. Please handle your pieces with care to ensure their longevity. I do not recommend wearing Ambieral jewelry to sleep or in the shower. Some crystals do not react well to being submerged in water for long periods of time -- a few examples being amber, moonstone, opal, and selenite. Please look into what environments your crystals can and can’t be in when purchasing as every crystal is different.
